The primary focus of Family Life Ministries at Cannon’s Camp Ground United Methodist Church is the relationship between an individual and the church. We look at the definition of “family” as one individual and his or her role in life. We focus on families as they are, not as they should be. By serving all family units, and most importantly THE WHOLE CHURCH FAMILY, we enable each person to form a bond within the church. Through our ministry, we enable individuals to be a part of ONE FAMILY…the FAMILY of GOD! We are united as one in Christ.
Family Life Ministries allows each person, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, or socioeconomic status, the opportunity to experience Christian discipleship by:
Being able to focus on his or her life as a Christian
Serving the Lord by serving one another
Developing life-long friendships
Offering support in good times and bad times
Reaching out to people in the community and the church
Enjoying fellowship among friends and family
Utilizing programs and facilities for spiritual, emotional, and physical health
Experiencing the love of Christ in a safe and loving environment, and
Being nurtured through spiritual guidance, mutual support, and Christian love
Family Life Ministries is a connectional ministry, thus bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds, etc. The opportunities available for all who enter this church abound and are here to help people on their journeys of faith.
